Sports Day

TCIS celebrated Annual Sports day with great enthusiasm. Sports like Running races, book balance, frog jump, and cones up and down were played. Afterward, there was a prize distribution ceremony in which the winners were given prizes and certificates.

The learners had a class activity for Diwali, they decorate the diya with colours. They were given Lantern as take away, which was a surprise for the learners. Little Cambrians wear dressed in ethnic wear and enjoyed the Diya decorating activity which develops their fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination.

Navratri Celebration

TCIS celebrated Navratri with great reverence and joy to worship the Goddess Durga. All the enthusiastic learners came dressed in beautiful traditional attire. We started the programme with an aarti of Goddess Durga, followed by a fusion Garba dance and a special performance by the teachers. Cambrians celebrated the act of Women’s Empowerment gracefully and with positive energy.


Dussehra Celebration

A puppet show was organised for our little cambrians which was based on Ramayana. They enjoyed the show and learned all about Lord Ram’s victory over Raavan in a fun way. Later the learners had a class activity for Navaratri and were given Dandiyas as a gift which made them happy.

Learners at Cambria International enjoyed the Red day activity. They were dressed in their Red outfits and did an activity of singing the Red day song, later some students spoke a few sentences on a Red object they brought. It was a day filled with smiles and colours.

Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration

For this auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, we kept the Eco-friendly idol of Ganesh. The story of Ganesha was narrated to students and they made modaks and clay mice to make it more fun. Later they enjoyed the chocolate modak given by us.

It’s crucial to know the importance of a healthy body and lifestyle that’s the reason we arranged a field trip to the Gym for our Cambrians. The trainer taught our students about various types of gym equipment, and gym training like cardio and they even got the opportunity to use some equipment.

TCIS celebrated the Parsi New Year with great enthusiasm. We started with a beautiful prayer and prayed for everyone’s health, wealth and prosperity. And ended the day with a very exciting activity of making a rangoli using onion prints.

We celebrated the 75th Independence Day by explaining to our children the importance of freedom fighters and giving them a Tiranga. The students were dressed in tricolour and we ended the day by clicking group photos.

Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan Celebration

The Cambria students did several activities to celebrate the true essence of Raksha Bandhan. They tied rakhi to the plants and the boys of their class. The boys also participated by giving them a greeting card as a gift. Some students even tied rakhi to the policemen.

Friendship Day

Learners enthusiastically celebrated Friendship Day. The learners enjoyed a movie and songs and understood the essence of friendship. On this occasion, the teachers explained the learners the feelings of warmth or compassion towards friends.

Blue Colour Day

Classrooms were decorated with blue colour bag, umbrella, balloon, clouds, flower. They were introduced with different shades of blue and learners were made to recognize Blue colour. It helped to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words.

Field Trip to Gym

The trip aimed to allow students to understand the importance of a healthy body and a healthy lifestyle and try to inculcate it in their day-to-day lives. Learners were explained about uses of equipments and were given a chance to use them under trainerโ€™s supervision.

Steam Workshop

TCIS conducted STEM activities from grade I to VIII to cultivate the seeds of excitement & curiosity in our young learners. Different activities were conducted across different grades which will help the students to link their theoretical knowledge and principle behind their day-to- day activities.

Field Trip to Library

TCIS arranged an educational field trip at the โ€˜Sarvajanik Vachnalayeโ€™ for grade III learners. They explored and learned new genres such as fantasy, historical, autobiography, comic, science fiction, drama, poetry, etc.

Field Trip to Plant Nursery

The grade I learners of TCIS visited Shriram Plant Nursery. The planned trip aimed to allow learners to know more about the parts, types, sizes, and shapes of plants. They also learned to identify new plants. The students enjoyed the field trip and came back with a takeaway of knowledge about plants.


Rangotsav was aimed at bringing out the artistic and creative potential in learners from grades I to X. Rangotsav is an initiative designed to cultivate awareness of cultural diversity among young learners. It provided them with an opportunity to express their thoughts and ideas through art & color.

Music Competition

To bring out the singing talent of the learners Solo Singing Competition was organized. It cheered the spirit and lightened the heart of our little learners. Our little Cambrians showed their mastery over voice modulation, pitch, rhythm, and tone.  

Field Trip to Science Lab

TCIS believes in learning by doing and provides our little learners with the best hands-on learning experience. Not only did our learners observe basic science experiments, but also got a chance to peep through the eyepiece of a microscope and look into the world of tiny cells.

Field Trip to Kala Talav

Our eager and curious learners of Grade IX & X were taken to Kala Talao in Kalyan as a part of their English subject field trip. The aim was to let the students have a live experience that they could later pen down describing it helping them to improve their observational as well as writing skills.

Field Trip to Cream Chills

The Grade V learners of TCIS visited Cream Chills on 16th July 2022 as a part of their (Science) field trip. The planned trip aimed to allow learners to know more about the art of ice cream making along with how it can associate with different processes in science.

Solo Dance Competition

TCIS organized Solo Dance Competition for Pre-primary learners. The participants dressed in colorful costumes twirled around and the awesome dancers set the Dance floor on fire with their energetic performances. They were appreciated for their costumes, props, and choreography.


Eid al-Adha, the โ€œFestival of the Sacrificeโ€ On Friday 8th July, the Learners of TCIS celebrated Eid al Adha. All the tiny tots took part in the card-making activities. To acquaint them with its religious significance, the teachers explained the history and stories.

World Chocolate Day

We, The Cambrians celebrated World Chocolate Day with various activities such as fireless cooking, chocolate sandwich making, cake baking, etc. We had a great speaker Mr.Mandar Bhosale who shared the health benefits of including chocolate in our diet.

National Doctor’s Day

TCIS celebrated National Doctorsโ€™ Day, to mark the birth and honour of renowned physician and former West Bengal chief minister โ€œDr Bidhan Chandra Royโ€. Cambrians celebrated this day by showing gratitude to those who serve as doctors and are a part of this noble profession.

Yellow Colour Day

Yellow stands for freshness, happiness, positivity, clarity, energy and so much more. The learners were asked to dress up in yellow color. We began with various activities like singing rhymes and stories and also color identification of different things.

Drawing Competition

Every child is an artist. Keeping this in mind and to explore the creative potential in the young minds of our children, an inter-house drawing and coloring competition was held with the theme of using different shapes to draw animals for KG learners.

Academic Orientation

The event aimed at familiarizing the parents to school, its faculties and also the curriculum, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities. Our CMD Mr. Bipin Pote welcomed the parents with an insightful speech followed by the school principal Mrs. Heena Mam.

TCIS observed Yoga Day to promote mental and physical well-being among students. TCIS wishes that each learner practices this wonderful way of living a healthier life. To inculcate this practice and to create awareness Yoga, various aasans were taught by our yoga trainer to our learners.

A word search competition aimed at enhancing the language and problem-solving skills of our learners. The puzzle themes covered spring, figures of speech, tourism, technology, etc. Our Tech-savvy learners participated passionately and enjoyed it alot.

On this occasion, little Cambrians enjoyed a Jungle themed Puppet show filled with lots of excitement and laughter. Later, our little learners exchanged greeting cards with each other to cherish their blooming friendship and we captured those precious moments in beautiful frames.

World Environment Day

Little Cambrians and our teachers participated in a tree-planting campaign led by our MD, Mrs. Minal Pote Madam, and Deputy Commissioner of KDMC Mr. Ramdas Kokare. The event echoed that for a sustainable future, innovation & the environment should go hand in hand!
