The history of Eid-ul-Adha refers to the times of Ibrahim. Popularly known as the Festival of Sacrifice, commemorates Prophet Ibraham’s unselfish act of sacrificing(Qurbani) his own son to the One God, Allah. The festival reminds everyone of the mercy and benefits bestowed upon mankind by Allah.
Dates (Khajoor) were distributed to our learners to signify that Dates are easily digested, making them a quick source of energy and nutrients. Eating dates after a long day of fasting can help the body's blood glucose levels quickly return to normal. When not fasting, consumption of dates before a meal will satisfy the sensation of hunger, which in turn helps to avoid overeating.
Take away-card making activity was conducted with great zeal and enthusiasm.
