A present common dilemma in front of every Indian parent is finding the right school board for their child. The primary mode of assessment for CBSE is an examination, where students are assessed based on their ability to learn, memorize, and recall the concepts. IGCSE students are evaluated based on their submitted assignments and practical application of their skills and knowledge during the academic year.
7. Important Examinations
For CBSE, the essential examinations include All-India Secondary School Examination conducted for Class X and the All-India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination conducted for Class XII. Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Secondary 1 & 2 are the milestone examinations conducted by the IGCSE schools.

CBSE board is for those who aspire to take exams such as IIT-JEE, NIT, and AIIMS in the future, as their curriculum focuses on subjects such as Math and Science. The board is also perfect for those parents who move around cities due to their job demands.
On the other hand, IGCSE is ideal for those students who want to grab global opportunities and pursue multiple careers. The Cambridge curriculum is designed to offer adaptability to such students.
